Hello RSO leaders!

Happy Hump Day! We are coming to the end of the quarter and thus the School Year. This edition of the newsletter will serve a reminder of all of the deadlines and events that are fast approaching. Please read carefully and make sure all of the requirements are done before the deadlines.

• Funding

Remember to submit your reimbursement forms at Locatelli. Deadline to submit Spring Quarter reimbursement forms is Week 9 - Friday, June 2nd at 5PM.

• Reserving Spaces

The Mission Gardens is now closed for any future reservations indefinitely. Departments remain the right to cancel/deny reservations on their spaces. Please take this in consideration when planning for events on Mission Gardens. 

Similarly, we have been getting reports by SCDI's building managers that clubs/orgs have been using the tables and chairs outside in the courtyard for tabling but these are not being put back. They are constantly having to go back and move those tables and chairs for you. This is not ok, if this keeps happening orgs may loose event reservation privileges. Please help us maintain relationships with other departments and collaboratively work towards doing successful events without compromising the other RSOs. 

We are pleased to announce that the RSO renewals application for the upcoming academic year is now open. As a registered student organization, you are required to renew your status annually in order to maintain your active status and continue to receive funding and other benefits from the university.

To renew your RSO status, please visit the RSO Renewal Form. The application deadline is May 26th, THIS FRIDAY - NO EXCEPTIONS so be sure to submit your application and all required documents before this date.

Here are the requirements:

• 2 elected officers
• 15 active members
• 1 updated constitution
• 2023-2024 Officer Agreement form
• 2022-2023 Advisor Agreement form if you have an advisor. If you do not have an advisor, Victor Pineda will be your advisor by default and he can help you with funding, meetings, and any other resources your RSO may need (PLEASE NOTE: If Victor is your advisor he does not fill this out, ONLY NON-VICTOR ON CAMPUS advisors)
