Sobrato Foundation Challenge Grant

ExCEL, Excellence in Catholic Education and Leadership, supports the development of Catholic school teachers. The program is a partnership between SCU's School of Education and Counseling Psychology and the Diocese of San Jose. The ExCEL financial model sustainably covers the costs of graduate school tuition, transportation, and basic living expenses, donor funding is critical to support student housing. These annual costs are typically between $10,000 and $13,000 per student. To fill our funding gap, the Sobrato Family Foundation will match gifts and pledges on a 1:1 basis made between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2018. Make a Gift.
