SCU faculty and students conduct research on a range of environmental justice issues. Much of it is community-based, produced in collaboration with community organizations and government agencies.
We are networking to grow community-academic partnerships for Environmental Justice (EJ) teaching & research in Northern California. We welcome participation from community groups & academic partners to support each other with questions and answers, and to share resources, contacts, events, experiences, and opportunities.
The Initiative is mapping environmental justice research in Jesuit institutions of higher learning, developing a network of faculty and staff, and forging closer ties with Catholic social ministry organizations to co-produce research and teaching materials.
