President and Executive Director, Catholic Community Foundation of Los Angeles
Kathy Anderson is President and Executive Director of the Catholic Community Foundation of Los Angeles. She has been affiliated with CCF-LA since it was founded in 2014 and today she is responsible for client development and program administration. She leads a team that offers professional philanthropy management services to individuals and organizations in a Catholic, socially responsible way, making grants to charities aligned with the broad mission of the Catholic church. She is responsible to a 12-member Board of Directors.
Kathy brings over 30 years of experience as a corporate and nonprofit leader to CCF-LA. She was Executive Director of the Catholic Education Foundation for nine years, where she was responsible for funding an important Catholic school tuition program at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to support students living below the poverty line. Preceding that, she was CEO and President of Lockheed Martin Finance Corporation where she also served as the company’s ethics officer. Prior to that she had a career in international finance and corporate banking.
Kathy is a graduate of Santa Clara University and serves as an emeritus regent after 12 years on the Board of Regents. She and her husband, Howard, live in Glendale and are active parishioners at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. They have two grown sons.
