Senior Parent Dinner Dance

Family Weekend: February 22-23, 2019

The Senior Parent Dinner Dance is a special candlelight dinner and dance located in the Imperial Ballroom of The Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.


Senior Parent Dinner Dance (per person)

  • $90 until 2/7/19
  • $110 starting 2/8/19
  • No more tickets sold after 2/17/19

General Family Weekend Registration (per family)

  • $60 until 2/16/19
  • $80 starting 2/17/19

IMPORTANT: If your family is planning to attend both the Senior Parent Dinner Dance and general Family Weekend events, you must pay the family registration fee in addition to the ticket fees for the Dinner Dance. However, if you are only attending the Dinner Dance, then your family does not need to pay the family registration fee (only the Dinner Dance ticket fees).

General Schedule

Saturday, February 23, 2019
  • 7:00pm - The reception will be located in front of the Imperial Ballroom. Cash bars will be open during this time. We will also have a check-in table for individuals who were not able to pick up their tickets during Family Weekend check-in.
  • 7:30pm - Imperial Ballroom doors open. Tickets will have the number of your assigned table.
  • 8:00pm - Dinner begins.

Dinner is followed by dancing to the music of the Groove Doctors.

Seating Requests

Seating requests and dietary restrictions may be made online when you register. Seating is arranged by tables of 9. Tables of 10-12 are limited. If your seating requests exceed these numbers, then you will be seated in the same vicinity as your requested family or families.

We will do our best to honor all seating requests, but exact seating is not guaranteed since numbers and table arrangements may not work out mathematically.


A shuttle bus will make rounds between campus and The Fairmont before and after the event from 6:30pm until 12:30am with a temporary break in service from 8:00-9:00pm (break for bus drivers). Pick-up and drop-off location on campus is the parking lot by the Leavey Athletic Center (basketball arena).

What to Wear

Attire is semi-formal.
