Non Degree Students

Although Santa Clara University’s undergraduate program is designed primarily for full-time, degree-seeking students, we do allow non-degree seeking students to take courses through SCU. Non-degree seeking students include students from another accredited college or university, students participating in SCU exchange or SCU study abroad programs, university employees, alumni, and the Young Scholars Program.

Federal and State Aid Programs

Non-Degree students are not eligible for federal or state aid programs, with the exception if the course is a prerequisite(s) for admission to a degree or professional program.

Private Educational Loans

You may consider a private educational loan to help with your non-degree educational costs. Eligibility is based on your credit and/or co-borrowers credit, as determined by the lender and your enrollment status.
