Transfer Students

Santa Clara University recommends that transfer students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) concurrent to completing their admission application to maximize their federal, state and non-federal aid program eligibility.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Transfer students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for all federal student aid programs.

  • Complete the FAFSA concurrently with your admission application
  • Santa Clara University FAFSA School Code is 001326

NOTE: For Cal Grant consideration, you must complete your FAFSA by March 2.

Cal Grant GPA Verification Form

California Residents: Complete the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form along with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for the Cal Grant program.

  • Transfer students must have the form completed and postmarked by March 2

NOTE: If you were a Cal Grant recipient at another college, complete the Grant Record Change Form for Students on WebGrants4Students indicating that you will be attending Santa Clara University.
