  • Make a deposit on your card so that you can use the university’s printers and copiers.

Step 2: Gather your Documents and Information

To complete immigration check-in you will need:

  • Home country address and phone number
  • U.S. address where you will be living
  • U.S. phone number (if you have one)
  • Emergency contact's name and phone number

Students who have filed a Change of Status: instead of the F-1 visa stamp and I-94 Entry Record, please bring a copy of your I-797A, Approval Notice. You won’t check-in until your change of status to F-1 has been approved and you have received your I-797A.
