Advising

When in doubt, reach out!

Students, parents, and faculty/staff can reach our team via email at studyabroad@scu.edu. Email is often the best way to reach our advisors initially, especially if we need to follow-up with other campus departments or program providers and host institutions abroad (which can mean communicating across different time zones) before we can answer your question. Please be sure to include your name and student ID number in all emails.

We are are committed to responding within 1-3 business days, but are often able to reply much sooner.  Students, parents, and faculty/staff can also chat directly with our advisors in real time! To use the Live Chat feature, click the blue "Live Chat" button in the right-hand corner of our website during Live Chat Hours.

Off-Campus Advising Resources

Study abroad programs are organized by program providers and host institutions abroad. Program providers and host institutions can provide specific details about what it's actually like to be a student on their program (including housing information, internship placements, course offerings, and more). They can also prepare students for phase 2 of the application process.
