As a Senior Benefits Specialist, Michele provides support for daily requests and transactions for faculty, staff, and vendor/providers regarding benefits provided by the University. Michele is responsible for the enrollment in medical, dental, vision and supplement insurance plans. She is also responsible for TIAA-CREF and Fidelity plan enrollment and retirement fund distributions. Michele holds individual and semi-monthly new hire benefits orientation sessions, as well as multiple one-on-one meetings to assist the University community. Michele also oversees the Education Benefits for Faculty and Staff. Michele worked at SCU in temporary positions in both the Department of Human Resources as a Benefits Associate and the Office of the Registrar as a Technical Specialist in Data Management. She has over 14 years of HR experience.
