Open Enrollment 2020

Open Enrollment

If you are happy with your current benefits, no action needs to be taken on Workday. If you are enrolling in the Medical Flexible Spending Account or making any changes to your coverage, please log in to Workday and make the necessary changes to the desired plans. 

 

 

All open enrollment changes must be completed online by 5:00 pm on December 2nd, 2019.
NO late enrollment or changes will be accepted.


Concern EAP

  • Increase in face-to-face sessions from 8 sessions per incident to 10 sessions per incident

Dental

  • Increase in Annual Maximum from $2,500 to $3,500
  • Orthodontia coverage now includes spouses in addition to the employee and dependent children under the age of 26

Vision

  • Increase in allowance for frames/contact lenses from $120 to $150

Health Savings Account

  • Contributions Limits
    • Self- $3,550
    • Family- $7,100
    • Catch up (age 55 or older) - $1,000
  • If you are over the age of 65 and enrolled in Medicare, you cannot be enrolled in the HSA.

Flexible Spending Accounts

  • You must enroll during Open Enrollment in order to participate in the benefit in 2020.
  • General or Limited Purpose FSA
    • Minimum Contribution - $300
    • Maximum Contribution - $2,750
  • Transit FSA
    • Monthly Maximum Contribution- $270
  • Dependent Care FSA
    • Annual Maximum Contirbution per Family- $5,000

Health Advocate

  • A university-paid benefit that assists you and members of your household navigate the healthcare system and maximize your benefits. 
  • Can assist with clinical and administrative issues involving medical, hospital, vision, dental, pharmacy claims, and other health care needs.

Kaiser Gold Members

  • There are no plan changes. Please make sure to review the contributions per pay period.

Blue Shield Trio and Access Plus Member

  • There are no plan changes. Please make sure to review the contributions per pay period.

Blue Shield High Deductible PPO Members

  • New IRS Regulations for HSA Contributions
    • Contribution Limits:
      Self - $3,550
      Family - $7,100
  • There are no plan changes. Please make sure to review the contributions per pay period.
