Santa Clara University's Mission to Wellness provides programs, referrals, and education that enable employees to be effective at work and home. Mission to Wellness embraces dependent care and family services, health and wellness, and financial counseling. Let us help you meet your goals, and pursue your interests both within and outside of the university.

  • 10,000 Steps

    How many steps do you walk each day? Maybe you have heard the recent guidelines about walking 10,000 steps per day. How far is 10,000 steps anyway?

  • Weight Watchers at Work

    Weight Watchers at Work is a weight management program that encourages healthy eating, increased physical activity, and healthy weight management behaviors. Meetings are held on Wednesday at noon in the library. Questions? Contact Pamela Schlimmer at (408) 554-5250 or

  • Nutrition Counseling

    A healthy diet requires planning and an effort to include a variety of foods. The Mission to Wellness office will help with this by offering nutritional counseling, workshops and cooking classes to help you achieve your goals.

  • Anthem Blue Cross Health & Wellness

    Anthem Blue Cross provides you with resources to find your overall health status through the MyHealth Assessment, as well as information on their 360° Health Philosophy.

  • Kaiser Permanente

    Kaiser Permanente believes that the way to get to total health is through quality care. By providing you with a dedicated team of doctors passionate about keeping you healthy, Kaiser Permanente makes it possible for you to get the care you need - for everything you could need.

  • Pat Malley Fitness and Recreation Center

    The Pat Malley Fitness and Recreation Center is designed to be a gathering place for members of the campus community interested in physical activity. All individuals, regardless of ability level, are encouraged to utilize this campus resource to improve personal health and well-being.

  • Wellness Expo

    Santa Clara University's Wellness Expo takes place in November. This shouldn't be considered a substitute for making that next trip to the doctor's office for a physical exam, but it's sure to be a fun way to focus on some of your health and wellness concerns.
