Western Conversations 2016-2017

The next session of the Western Conversations will take place in February 2017, when members of the six Western Conversations institutions will join colleagues from the Midwest at the Heartlands Delta Conversations.

Western Conversations in Jesuit Higher Education is an annual conference of faculty members from the six western Jesuit schools. Participants come from Gonzaga University, Loyola Marymount University, Santa Clara University, Seattle University, Regis University, and the University of San Francisco. This meeting addresses key questions regarding the school’s identity in today's changing culture. Western Conversations are open to members of any faith tradition as well as those whose beliefs do not have a religious component. This conference presents the opportunity for Santa Clara University to engage faculty in what it means for them to be living out the Jesuit, Catholic tradition in their work.
