Mayka Mei works for the Mouse at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Just the latest manifestation of Mei’s life goal to work the Coolest Jobs Ever, Mei recently swapped her startup hats for mouse ears. Mei worked in a string of entertainment and lifestyle startups in the Bay Area – launching two social media mobile apps, tweeting as Incubus, running the #2 biggest fashion brand on Twitter, and presenting fan-building techniques to international audiences in Cannes. Fostering maximum adaptability throughout her tech days, Mei bridges the production team at Walt Disney Animation Studios with all publicity, marketing, and consumer product efforts.

Mei graduated from Santa Clara University in 2006 with a BA in Individual Studies (Ethnic Studies) and Communication. In her Bronco days, Mei served as Multicultural Center Director as a Junior, leapt en pointe in Images and Gallery, and received the first A+ Mike Whalen ever gave for the rough draft of her screenplay. In 2010, Mei formed the Alumni Association's Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Chapter and served as its Founding President.
