Manager, Instructional Technology

Joining SCU as a Sr. Instructional Technology Resource Specialist in June 2016, Brian Larkin came to Santa Clara University with over a decade of experience in Jesuit education.  While at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., Brian taught for nine years and served as the school’s first Educational Technologist by designing, implementing, and supporting a three-year strategic technology plan. Brian received his M.A. in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University, focusing on technology’s impact on education, and he earned his B.A. in English with a concentration in professional writing from Fairfield University.

Brian serves as a board member for the Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy, and he also volunteers with the Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities by writing the weekly round up for the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight, a nationwide effort to bring greater positive awareness and exposure to Jesuit education.
