Information Technology supports the technology needs of the University Community. The groups are organized as indicated with a brief summary of major responsibility areas.
Enterprise Applications Group
The Enterprise Applications Group is composed of three groups: the Student Administration System Managers, Student Administration Technical Group, and the HR and Finance Group. Together they provide technical and consulting support for all the administrative offices on campus. This includes support for the Oracle/PeopleSoft (Finance, HCM, Campus Solutions), eCampus portal and Administrative applications.
Infrastructure Technologies Group
The Infrastructure Technologies Group is composed of three groups: the Networking and Telecommunication Group (NTG), the Enterprise Systems Group, and Administrative Infrastructure Group. Together they manage the campus network, directory services, IDAM/Single Sign On and the campus Internet service providing connectivity for each building and department on campus. They administer the schools email and collaborative services, network storage and network printing, and the Administrative Systems infrastructure. They are responsible for data center management, servers (physical and virtual), VDI, and SAN storage infrastructure. These systems are mission critical for most departments depending upon reliable operations in order to accomplish their responsibilities. They are also responsible for the DR (disaster recovery) site.
