  • Be Aware of Fraudulent Invoice Attachments - December 8, 2015

    There have been fraudulent ​email messages with attached invoices invoices making the rounds on the Internet. The majority of these emails target colleges and universities and we need to watch out for them. The messages can look very legitimate, even appearing appear to be sent by someone within the college or university who would request an invoice to be paid as part of the normal course of business.

  • Network outage update - November 28, 2015

    As of late afternoon on November 28, 95% of the network is up and running. Major systems such as eCampus, Camino, the Library's systems, and Digication are all functional. We are currently troubleshooting four issues and we will continue to work on these issues until they are resolved.

  • Qualtrics Survey Software - September 14, 2015

    Information Services has secured a site license for Qualtrics, a comprehensive, powerful online survey tool. Any SCU student, faculty member, or staff member can use it and it comes with great support from Qualtrics.

  • New antivirus software and software deployment tool - June 29, 2015

    Upgrading to Sophos and installing Big Fix

    Over the next month, IS will undertake two important initiatives: one will dramatically improve our cyber security, and the other will significantly enhance customer service for about 1,000 of our users by eliminating the need for us to physically touch their computers any time we need to patch software or change vendors for University-mandated software (e.g., antivirus software).
