About Fr. McGarry

Fr. McGarry worked in high school ministry for many years prior to serving as Rector of the Jesuit Community at the Jesuit School of Theology. He worked at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix as teacher and Director of Campus Ministry, Loyola High School in Los Angeles as teacher and Director of Campus Ministry, and Jesuit High School in Sacramento where he served as an assistant principal and as principal. In 2005, he was appointed to a six year term as provincial of the California Province of the Society of Jesus. In addition to his role as Rector of the Jesuit Community at JST, Fr. McGarry also serves on several boards of educational institutions.
