JST offers generous institutional scholarship packages to all applicants. Every student that applies for a JST scholarship is guaranteed a partial-tuition scholarship. Additionally, JST awards up to 9 full-tuition scholarships each year. To learn more about the JST’s scholarships and the application process visit our scholarships page.
JST offers many employment opportunities on our campus in Berkeley. All JST students are eligible to apply for these positions, which are a great source of funding and also provide professional training and hands-on experience that contributes to their overall formation. Students have the opportunity to work up to 19 hours a week and are paid at least $16.00 per hour. Students that work 19 hours per week throughout the academic year would earn approximately $11,000.
Eligible graduate students can also apply for federal loans to offset the cost of tuition and living expenses during their studies. Federal loan awards and disbursements are managed by Santa Clara University's Financial Aid Office.
Interested students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and provide SCU's institutional code 001326. You can find additional details on completing the FAFSA on the Santa Clara University Financial Aid website.
