JST awards a number of Arrupe Scholarships to full-time lay students accepted into the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program. Presidential scholars are awarded full tuition for three years, which is the duration of the M.Div. program. Applicants for the Presidential Scholarship should have experience or interest in working in poverty settings and with persons from different cultures. Presidential Scholars will be pastorally involved in such local settings (parishes, prisons, social agencies, etc.) during each year of the M.Div. program.
