The Manresa Lounge has comfortable couches and is off to the right of the JST Lobby.

The Compañía Lounge has round tables and there is almost always a gaggle of students working here during the day. It is located next to the Manresa Lounge.

The Montserrat Lounge is located in the basement of the JST building. It has several computers, a printer, and couches for student use. It is also where the student mailboxes and the events bulletin board is located.

The courtyard behind the school is a perfect place to spend sunny afternoons.

The GTU Library is located just a few blocks from JST at 2400 Ridge Road. In addition to an abundance of theological resources, it has personal cubicles, tables, and group study rooms available.

Cal’s Doe Memorial Library is centrally located on UC Berkeley’s campus, about a 10 minute walk from JST. JST students can get a Library card free of charge, and have access to the top public research university library in the country, with over 10 million volumes. There are several other discipline specific libraries throughout Cal’s campus that are also good places to study.

There are a number of coffee shops on Euclid Avenue and in downtown Berkeley off Shattuck Ave to discover.

The Pacific School of Religion (PSR) has a beautiful grassy Quad Area which is perfect for studying on sunny days. It is located on Scenic Ave.
