Dear Santa Clara University Faculty, Staff, and Students,
We have good news to share about a pop-up vaccine clinic coming to campus next week.
SCU will be hosting a free, on-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinic Wednesday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The clinic, being run by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, will be held in the Williman Room and adjacent patio in Benson Center (the same room where COVID testing is being done now). It is open to all SCU campus members as well as members of the neighboring community.
You can choose between the single-dose Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine, or one shot of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. If you choose Pfizer, a second dose will be offered at SCU on June 23. If you leave the area before then, you can get your second Pfizer dose elsewhere.
We encourage you to sign up for an appointment for your vaccination; walk-ins with no appointment are welcome, but are subject to availability of vaccine doses.
If you live nearby and have not had a chance to get vaccinated yet, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Feel free to spread the word to neighbors, friends or local businesses you support.
Thanks for doing your part to keep SCU and our community safe.
