Dear Santa Clara University Faculty, Staff, and Students,
SCU is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Wednesday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The clinic, being run by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, will be held in the Parlors B and C and adjacent patio in Benson Center. It is open to all SCU community members as well as members of the neighboring community.
You can choose between the single-dose Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine, or one shot of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. If you already received your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at our June 2 clinic, you can now receive your second dose. You only need to bring your vaccination card. Those receiving their first dose will be able to obtain a second dose in three weeks, anywhere they are offered in the county or region. Information will be available at the clinic.
If you live nearby or are on campus for the summer quarter and have not had a chance to get vaccinated yet, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Feel free to spread the word to neighbors, friends or local businesses you support.
Thanks for doing your part to keep SCU and our community safe.
Craig Stephens, Ph.D.
