Returning Student Move-In

In order to provide for the safe and efficient move-in for returning students and to provide a welcoming atmosphere for the beginning of the year, the Offices of Housing and Residence Life and Campus Safety Services have developed the following procedures. Returning students move in on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
Returning students move in on Sunday, September 22, 2019 between 9:00AM and 4:00PM by going to the service desk of their assigned community.
Campus check-points have been created for all residence halls and they are:

Finn/Sobrato Entrance (The Alameda north of El Camino, east curb): Finn & Sobrato

Intersection of Bellomy & The Alameda (along Market): Dunne, Graham, & Swig

Nobili Parking Lot – North Entrance (Lafayette Street & Lexington Street): McLaughlin–Walsh & Nobili

Accolti Way (Accolti Way at stop sign): Campisi, Casa Italiana, & Sanfilippo

Once you have successfully entered your assigned campus check-point, vehicles will be directed to an unloading area by Campus Safety officers. Upon arriving in the unloading area, the resident student should proceed to the service desk of their assigned residence hall to receive keys and paperwork.
Parents, friends or other family members must unload the vehicle, as there are no Welcome Weekend volunteers available on Sunday, September 22.
After items have been unloaded, vehicles must immediately relocate to a permanent parking location to allow for others to arrive and unload their belongings. Unattended vehicles risk being ticketed and towed.

Returning residents with an early arrival approval should follow instructions that will be emailed at a later date. University Villas residents without early arrival approval are not permitted to arrive on campus or drop off belongings, regardless of whether their roommate has checked in, until September 22nd.
