Leah Rabin Reflects on Working Toward Peace
We
have lived through days of serious threats to our existence,
to the survival of Israel. We have known how to cope with
the pain of loss of life. We have buried our dead, mourned
for them, and continued in our struggle. There is no alternative
to the peace process. We are on the way, and these mines,
these obstacles have to be overcome. The train of peace
will go on and arrive at its destiny. Those who try to stop
it should not be given a chance. Having lived with Yitzhak
all my life, I know that . . . would have been his conviction.
Don't give in. Don't stop. Just go on.
