The Markkula Center for Applied Ethics and the Santa Clara University School of Law will sponsor a conference on "Courts and the Mass Media: The Ethical Issues," scheduled for January 24Æ25 at the Universitys Mayer Theatre. After a welcome from Ronald George, chief justice, California Supreme Court, the keynote address will be delivered by Newton Minow, former chair, Federal Communications Commission.
