Biographical Information

Yujie Ge is the Lecturer of Chinese in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Santa Clara University. She received her Master's degree in Asian Languages and Literatures with concentration on Chinese language and literature at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Shortly after, she obtained the second Master's degree with a major in Journalism and Mass Communications at San Jose State University. She taught Chinese courses for two years during her stay at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has been teaching Chinese at Santa Clara University since September 2006. She also taught Chinese courses for two years at San Jose State University. She has been the advisor of the Chinese Students Association at Santa Clara University. She is passionate about teaching and always inspires students to learn Chinese language and culture locally and abroad. She loves the language and enjoys spending time with students.
