    2016 Music and Social Justice Festival

    The Department of Music hosted the first Music and Social Justice Festival in January of 2016. This three-day festival brought together students, faculty and distinguished guests to explore ways in which music and the arts can address issues of social inequality, forge interracial alliances, and help to create a more just world. 

  • How Could They Disappear?

    A haunting requiem for 43 “disappeared” college students in Mexico premiered at the Mission Church—and won’t soon be forgotten.
