Jesse Gary. Jesse Gary is a senior KTVU reporter based in the station’s South Bay Bureau. The recipient of multiple regional awards, including two Emmy Awards, multiple Emmy nominations, and one Peabody award (team coverage), he has been at KTVU since 2016.
Farida Jhabvala Romero. Farida Jhabvala Romero is a labor correspondent for KQED, who previously covered immigration. She was named one of the 10 Most Influential Latina Journalists in California in 2022 by the California Chicano News Media Association. Her work has won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, as well as a national and regional Edward M. Murrow Award for the collaborative reporting projects “Dangerous Air” and “Graying California.”
Guy Marzorati ’13. Guy Marzorati is a proud graduate of SCU, where he majored in history. He joined the Bay Area's public radio station KQED right after graduating, and is a correspondent on the station's California politics and government desk, reporting on state and local politics. He also produces KQED's weekly radio show and podcast Political Breakdown and KQED's digital voter guide.
Keith Menconi. Keith Menconi is an audio producer at the San Francisco Chronicle, working on the paper’s flagship daily news podcast, Fifth & Mission. He was previously an award-winning host and reporter at KCBS Radio, where he provided live field coverage on breaking news stories from throughout the Bay Area. He has reported on everything from fires to floods, to elections, to major protests.
Elissa Miolene. Elissa Miolene is the education reporter for The Mercury News. Elissa was previously a freelancer for the San Francisco Chronicle's Race & Equity team and an intern at the Wall Street Journal. Before shifting to journalism, she led communications for humanitarian and United Nations agencies in the United States, East Africa, and South Asia, where she wrote about child protection, global health, and humanitarian crises.
