Multicultural Welcome Reception
Join us for our kick-off event of the year, October 4th, 2018! All are invited to come and eat good food, make new friends, connect with staff and faculty, learn about OML programs, enjoy live performances, and participate in a Resource Fair with the student-run Multicultural Center (MCC) and other student organizations. OML collaborates with various student organizations and departments across campus to host a series of events to celebrate Chicanx Latinx Heritage Month (October), Native American Heritage Month (November), Black History Month (February), and Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American Heritage Month (May).
MLK Legacy Celebration
On January 16th, the nation will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Created to acknowledge the contribution that Dr. King’s legacy has left on the U.S. and the world at large, this year will mark the 31st celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. More details to come for 2018!
OML coordinates a series of senior recognition ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments of graduating students of color and LGBTQ students. Graduating seniors are invited to participate in these unique celebrations with their families and friends.
