The Center for Sustainability empowers SCU students, faculty, and staff to build a more humane, just, and sustainable world by hosting events and programs, implement initiatives, provide strategic consultation, and share stories that help the University achieve climate neutrality, practice mindful consumption, develop a culture of sustainability and use the campus as a living laboratory.
Every year, move-in creates a lot of unnecessary waste when new students may bring more stuff than they need. Help the environment by helping yourself and pack only what you need!

The Forge Garden is the University's educational garden serving as a space for research, service learning, and sustainable food production for the Friday Farm Stand.
Also known as BUG, Bronco Urban Gardens is an environmental justice initiative that promotes garden education and healthy nutritional habits for at-risk youth in San José.
