Walk Ins & No Shows

Walk Ins: We would like to accommodate and welcome all family members to Orientation; however, spots fill up quickly and we do have space limitations. If you decide to accompany your student but have not registered for the day, please contact us at orientation@scu.edu as soon as possible so we can do our best to ensure we have space for you in the session you need.

No Shows: If you do not attend the session that you registered for, your student will be contacted to move to a later session. See our refund policy below to make sure you are eligible for a refund if requesting one.

Refunds

Contact us at orientation@scu.edu if you need a refund due to a duplicate payment, removal of guests from your registration, or cancellation of registration. For refunds due to cancellation, your request must be made prior to the Orientation session for which you are registered otherwise your refund may not be approved.

Housing Accommodations

Santa Clara does not provide on-campus housing for parents and guests during Orientation and Welcome Weekend. Parents and guests are on their own to secure housing or lodging if they do not live close enough to return home for the night. We do partner with area hotels and have a car rental discount for those who need resources for accommodations.
