Embrace provides a space for students to discuss in small groups how family, school, and their home environments have influenced their beliefs about different social identity groups. Embrace provides students with an opportunity to articulate how one’s social identities influence one’s daily life and to identify one way they will contribute to inclusion at SCU.
This program consists of a 2-hour small group conversations facilitated by students. In September you will receive an email sent from the Office of Student Life to your SCU email account. Be sure to check the spam box just in case the email is filtered there by accident. The email will contain information about sign-ups and locations for the small group conversations. Remember that you only need to attend one of these Embrace sessions.
Students will be able to sign up for a workshop through their Camino account.
