General Information

The online diversity module (ODM) introduces students to foundational social justice concepts of social identity, privilege, and oppression. ODM helps students to further understand socialization through social identity, privilege, and oppression. ODM also equips students with the knowledge and skills to respond to micro aggressions, as well as encourages students to develop a personal commitment to social justice.

Instructions

In late July or early August you will receive an email sent from the Office of Student Life to your SCU email account. Be sure to check the spam box just in case the email is filtered there by accident. The email will include additional instructions on how to access the ODM online workshop and sign-up for a 2-hour EMBRACE small group conversation that will take place in fall quarter.

When completing the ODM online workshop, you can work at your own pace from any computer. You can leave and return to the course at any time, and when you return, it will open to the page where you left off. The module will take an hour to complete.

Deadline

September 13, 2019
