* SCU may further restrict State/County tier allowances pending prevalence of COVID-19 among campus community

** The Research Resumption Plan (RRP) must be approved and on file with the Dean's office prior to research resumption.  A current list of individuals (faculty, staff, students) associated with each RRP must be kept current and on file with the Dean's Office and submitted for Essential Access approval and tracking.

*** Social distancing protocols may be eliminated for research environments where all individuals are fully vaccinated.  Full vaccination is defined as three weeks past the last dose.  One non-vaccinated individual may work in a research environment in the presence of fully vaccinated individuals without social distancing protocols.  Vaccination status must be registered with SCU and the laboratory must maintain a current status of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals should it choose to take advantage of these provisions.

All vaccinated individuals:

  • Must continue wearing masks at all times, indoors and outdoors, on campus including when in the research laboratory with other fully vaccinated individuals
  • Must continue performing daily symptom checks and remain home if experiencing any COVID-19 associated symptoms, including those attributed to allergies/colds/flu, until they subside
  • Must follow social distancing protocols in the research environment when two or more non-vaccinated individuals are present and at all times when immediately outside of the research setting
  • May cease weekly COVID-19 testing following registration of vaccination with SCU
