It has been over one year since we added the Landed down payment assistance program, and we are happy to announce that nine SCU employees (6 staff members and 3 faculty members) purchased homes with this assistance.
Landed has helped over 210 northern California educators purchase a home with their shared equity down payment program, and more than 500 educators nationwide have received assistance from the program.
Landed’s down payment program provides employees in education with up to $120,000 towards a 20% down payment on a home. This program is open to all employees — teachers, staff, and administrators — who have worked in education for at least two years and can contribute at least a 10% down payment themselves. You do not need to be a first-time homebuyer to participate.
Landed is hosting online information sessions next month for all employees interested in learning more about Landed’s down payment program and other homebuying resources. Interested participants can RSVP here:
