Good Afternoon,
The SCU Library is pleased to begin offering access to physical library materials through a Pickup Service, beginning Monday, July 27. All SCU faculty, staff and students are welcome to use the Library Pickup Service to obtain physical SCU Library materials in addition to LINK+ and Interlibrary Loan items.
- SCU Library Materials: SCU Library materials can be requested through the library catalog, OSCAR or OneSearch. For items that can be requested, follow the "Request This Title" or "Request from ARS" link to submit your request. If you find an item in the catalog that you would like to borrow, but there is no option to request the item, please contact the Library Help Desk, librarycirc@scu.edu, for further assistance.
- LINK+: LINK+ allows for borrowing of books from other libraries throughout California and Nevada. You may search and submit requests directly through the LINK+ catalog or begin your search in OSCAR or OneSearch, then select LINK+ from within your search results.
- Interlibrary Loan Items: Items not in the SCU Library collection or available through LINK+ may be obtained through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Books, book chapters and articles can be requested through your Interlibrary Account.
Once a requested item(s) is ready, you will receive an email notice with instructions for picking up the item(s) outside of the Learning Commons Monday through Friday, between 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm. Please allow two to three business days for SCU materials to be ready for pickup; LINK+ and ILL materials will take a few weeks to arrive.
If you requested physical library materials through LINK+, ILL or paging prior to the campus closure and still want those requested items, please resubmit those requests.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact the Library Help Desk, librarycirc@scu.edu.
Sincerely,
