Core Assessment

All Santa Clara students must complete the University's Core Curriculum prior to graduation.

Assessment of the Core represents a collaborative process among the Faculty Core Committees (who articulate the student learning objectives and review rubrics), faculty teaching in each Core area, students providing relevant work, faculty who score the student work, and the Office of Assessment. The goal of assessment is to provide meaningful information that can lead to program level improvement in the Core.

Core Assessment Reports present aggregated results across all sections of the Core area that were offered in the selected evaluation terms.
