COVID-Relief Student Assistant Program (CSAP)
Applications due April 2, 2021
In response to Covid’s impact and the increased personal and professional workload for faculty, a Covid relief version of the FSRAP program has been created for 2020-2021: Covid Student Assistant Program--CSAP--awards up to $1,000 for undergraduate student wages and benefits. Faculty with academic year appointments are invited to submit proposals.
The principal objectives of the CSAP program are twofold: 1) to provide faculty with assistance in their scholarship or teaching, and 2) to provide student research assistants with work and a meaningful learning experience with faculty.
Health and Safety: Like all university activity, student assistance will be limited by the current campus guidelines concerning Covid. The conditions concerning the faculty member’s research or teaching are unchanged by a CSAP grant.
Students hired to work remotely through CSAP (and all other university programs) must reside in California, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Illinois and Nevada.
Faculty who wish to apply should complete the Covid-SAP application form and need not have a student research assistant identified at the time of application.
