Ben Stokes received $73,413 from the University of California, Merced
Ben Stokes with the Chemistry and Biochemistry department has received a $73,413 subaward from the University of California, Merced (funds originated from the National Science Foundation).
This award will support his project "Collaborative Research: Exploiting liquid crystal solvents to template nanoparticle structures: from mechanistic understanding to control and design".
The subcontract/subaward will fund the preparation and characterization of organic molecules by SCU undergraduate students. The organic molecules they prepare will be utilized by collaborators at University of California, Merced to modify nanoparticles and direct their self-assembly.
