Julie Rubio received a $110,000 subaward from University of Notre Dame
Julie Rubio with the Jesuit School of Theology has received a $110,000 subaward from University of Notre Dame to support her project "Haciendo Caminos: Theological Education for New Generations of U.S. Latino/a Catholics".
The project has three primary objectives: 1) reduce barriers and increase support for graduate theological education for U.S.-born Hispanic Catholics; 2) increase knowledge of, and interest in, ministerial professions among this population; and 3) formalize a Consortium of Catholic institutions of higher education forming pastoral leaders at the graduate level in collaboration with local ecclesial organizations.
