Join us for a virtual CAFE focusing on Designing and Assessing Multimodal Assignments with Michelle Burnham (English), Angela Holzmeister (Classics), Maria Judnick (English), and Robin Tremblay-McGaw (English). Drawing on their own teaching practices, our colleagues will talk about how they promote student learning, creativity, and engagement through designing multimodal projects (projects that ask students to compose or create work using more than one format, such as the spoken word, written text, audio, visuals and other graphics, scripted video and podcasts, and infographics). They will also share their insights about assessing multimodal assignments.
