May-be it's time for the latest Club Sports update! SCU is home to 21 active and competitive Club Sport teams that take on universities at the local, regional, and national levels. Each month, we check in with teams to see what they've been up to--though not all Club Sports will report each month.
This is your last chance to support your fellow Broncos this quarter! Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this email for the full list of upcoming home games and their times.
See you out there--Go Broncos!
OPEN CLUB SPORTS
SAILING
The Santa Clara Sailing Team wrapped up the spring season with a strong showing at the PCCSC Conference Championships, battling through heavy winds and intense competition. Despite challenging conditions, our sailors showed grit and determination, securing a ranking on 15th in the West Coast. We're building a committed roster, training hard, and aiming higher—both on and off the water. Stay tuned for upcoming campus events, regattas as we ramp up the hype for the fall season starting not too far away in September! If you’re interested in the team for next season reach out to our president at cvanderveer@scu.edu

SWIM TEAM
What’s up, Bronco Nation! Spring quarter has been full of energy, and the Club Swim Team has been riding the wave. We kicked it off with a fun and competitive meet down at UCLA, and just last weekend, we held our Spring Intrasquad Meet right here at home. Next up, we’re excited to host our annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, May 17, as we wrap up an incredible season. Looking back on the year we accomplished so much, especially at nationals with many SCU Club Swim records being set! If you’re interested in joining the Club Swim Team or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to our first-year reps at kbush@scu.edu or akerobyan@scu.edu.
Keep Calm and Swim On!

MEN'S CLUB SPORTS
MEN'S CLUB BASEBALL

Club Baseball had an incredible season, finishing with a dominant 17-1 conference record and 23-7 overall record. Ranked #7 in the country, the Broncos were crowned Pacific North Champions and earned a spot in the Pacific Regional Championship this past weekend. Facing off against top competition, they defeated both Grand Canyon University and Chico State before advancing to the championship game against Cal Miramar and falling just short of making it to the World Series. All of this was achieved in just the program’s second year—an impressive testament to the team’s hard work, talent, and rapid rise to national recognition. We hope to see you at some of our competitions next year! Go Broncos!
MEN'S LACROSSE
The Men’s Lacrosse team wrapped up a landmark 2025 season with major strides on and off the field. They improved their win total by two games over last year and pulled off a thrilling upset against Cal in the first round of the WCLL Playoffs. The team battled four nationally ranked opponents, losing by just five combined goals, and placed seven players on the WCLL All-Conference Team. Individual honors included Thomas Honey, who ranked 33rd nationally in scoring, Ryan Rosselli, who ranked 7th nationally in saves, and Jack Partovi, who ranked 10th in the nation in faceoff wins. With a strong core returning and a promising group of incoming recruits, the Broncos are well-positioned for an even bigger 2026 season.

WOMEN'S CLUB SPORTS
WOMEN'S CLUB SOCCER
We had an incredible season filled with growth, passion, and unforgettable moments. The chemistry we built—both on and off the field—was truly special. It was a privilege to play alongside teammates who brought so much heart to every game and supported each other every step of the way. Making it to the playoffs was a testament to our hard work, and we played some of our best matches of the season. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come since day one.
WOMEN'S CLUB VOLLEYBALL
The Women’s Club Volleyball team wrapped up an incredible season at Nationals in Phoenix. Over the three-day tournament, we had many great games, earning us a spot in the Gold Bracket where we ended up finishing 9th in the nation! A special shoutout to Evelyn Crothall for being named 2nd Team All-American. We’re so proud of everything we achieved this year and can’t wait to carry this momentum into the next season.
