The Intramural Sports program is for the “everyday” athlete. It offers current Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff a variety of fun and friendly contests for skilled players and beginners alike.
Playing Intramural Sports is a great way to stay active, reduce stress, socialize with friends, meet new people, and have fun.
The policies and eligibility requirements are used to assist and keep our program successful and fun for all that choose to participate. All Intramural participants should familiarize themselves with the contents of the IM Handbook.

Deposit Refund Policies
Each Team Captain pays a $40.00 per team/player deposit when registering a team to participate in an Intramural Sports League. Teams/players that do not notify the Student Coordinator Office (408) 551-7183 or firstname.lastname@example.org 48 hours in advance of scheduled game will forfeit and lose their deposit.
If a team/player does not forfeit during the entire season including playoffs, they are eligible to receive a full refund for the IM Deposit. In order to receive the refund the Captain who paid the deposit will need to fill out a Intramural Sports Refund Request Form to have their deposit returned. All refunds need to be requested by the last day of class each spring quarter, in order to have all refunds processed by the end of the fiscal year.
