Housing Assistance

Housing Assistance

The University has established housing assistance programs for tenure-track faculty and (to some extent) for lecturers.  These programs are altered frequently to respond to changes in the local housing market and IRS compensation reporting rules, but usually consist of local apartment and home rentals with rents set at the low end of the market, and housing purchase assistance for tenure-stream faculty.  The Provost's page provides a description of the program and recommends you contact them directly for current information. A rental rate sheet and market comparison studies are available for review at the Property Management office at 3230 The Alameda (408-554-4104).
