Class of 2013
"I'm giving because I know my gift's impact will help the Center continue to improve sustainability across so many parts on- and off-campus: from composting efforts in Benson, reducing energy usage in the residence halls and more!"
Class of 2019
"I have been making small impacts by creating a prototype solar charging station in Engineering 110 and installing solar panels for low-income families through GRID Alternatives."
Class of 2019"Because of the opportunities and relationships I forged at the garden, I have now found a way to give back to my community, practice sustainability and find fulfillment within myself.”
Class of 2013
"The Center for Sustainability was where I had my first experience working in the field of sustainability. I credit those years at the Center for showing me the kind of impact a small, dedicated team can have in motivating big physical and cultural changes in an area that might be the most consequential of my generation."
Class of 2017"I feel that I've learned just as much working for the Center as I have through my classes. Being able to integrate class material with my work as an intern has provided a unique educational experience for me. Sustainability is now a guiding principle for how I view and approach the world."
