What is your favorite part about your work / about being on the team? My favorite part about working at the Forge Garden is learning about how and where food comes from and different sustainable food systems that could help combat climate change and food insecurity. Getting to work alongside a team that is also excited about these same things and meeting volunteers and being able to get them involved has been really special.
What is your favorite thing to grow in the garden and why? My favorite thing to grow in the garden is zucchini because they grow huge in the garden and there are a lot of fun recipes that incorporate zucchini.
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share: Along with the Forge Garden, I am also involved in Into the Wild. I love spending time outdoors and it is always a treat when I can bring fresh fruits and vegetables on my trips!
