What is your project about? I will be researching the City of Santa Clara’s path to a decarbonized transportation future, with a focus on how to ensure that this transition is accomplished in a just and equitable manner.
How will this fellowship support you in your future scholarship/career goals? The ability to apply these fascinating and incredibly relevant topics to a real-world context here in Santa Clara—something that directly impacts myself and the people around me—is an incredibly exciting opportunity. This project will teach me how to better work towards building an equitable, livable, and sustainable community, which is something that I want to use my career to help create.
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share: I play for the Men’s Ultimate Frisbee team at Santa Clara, and I enjoy going climbing in my free time.
