Santa Clara University is a Charter Signatory of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment. We first developed a Climate Neutrality Action Plan in 2010, and have a goal to achieve Climate Neutrality by 2020.

This inaugural plan builds upon the foundation of our Comprehensive Policy on Sustainability and previous Climate Action Plans. We have goals and objectives lined out in this Plan as well as an implementation roadmap, playbooks for individuals to take action, and dashboards to track progress.
As a Jesuit and Catholic University, SCU embraces sustainability through environmental stewardship, education, and service which furthers its mission to act as a voice of reason, conscience, and service to society.
