Share Shelf

horizontal

Located on 1st floor Benson (Swig side), the Share Shelf is a reuse office and school supplies program where you can give: donate your items and help them find new homes, take: save money and snag supplies here, instead of at the store, and share: If you take something, leave something. Keep the cycle going! Spending more money every quarter buying new school supplies is no longer your only option!

The Share Shelf in its new location, with actually 3 stocked shelves

Initially a pilot program in the Multicultural Center's Shapell Lounge, the Share Shelf receives many donations from various campus departments and on-campus residents. By sharing and reusing supplies, we are building a community, diverting unnecessary waste from the landfill, and saving money. The best part about it is that it is all completely free.

The Share Shelf is not just for students, but faculty and staff as well. We all have those notebooks that have been sitting half-used for awhile. Or, a second pair of scissors we probably don’t need! Help build your community by dropping off your items to the Share Shelf and noting your donations on the sign-in sheet.

Before you head to the store for another binder or another notebook, check by your best, new resource, the Share Shelf, to see if what you need is in stock!
